We are very pleased to announce that Goalkeeper of the month for December 2019 is Surfer.
Surfer trains with us at our Charlemont Centre and has been with us for approximately two years. He is one of our younger players and as is the case with all young players had a lot to learn when joining us.
Surfer has many challenges on a daily basis but when he comes to GDS he is with a family of people that support him and help him to enjoy and develop in something that he is absolutely passionate about and that is Goalkeeping.
Surfers skill and technique has developed so well over the past 6 months. He puts in so much effort in every single session and some of the saves that he makes are unbelievable for a player of his age. He has been put up into the final by a number of different coaches due to his hard work and has also won player of the day a number of times which shows that he has shined amongst his group.
Surfer deserves Keeper of the month for December 2019 for his ongoing effort, development, perseverance and positive personality. He is an absolute pleasure to coach.
