We are very pleased to announce that we have secured a new venue for our summer training courses on a Tuesday evening.
From the 1st May we will be running our summer 10 week course at Warley Rugby Club in Oldbury. The address is below:
Western Road, Oldbury, B69 4LY
It has been extended to a 2 hour session from 18:30 to 20:30 for 10 weeks with the option to continue throughout the summer until the end of September after the first 10 weeks.
The cost of the 10 week course is £60.
We will be training on a private grass pitch and the venue has bar facilities and an outdoor area for parents to watch the training in comfort.
We will be parking on the overflow carpark on Western Road – do not park round the front of the building.
We are hoping to arrange and pay for some sort of food for everyone on the first night – there will be more details on this later if we are able to do it.
As part of this deal with the club if GDS parents are to use facilities they must use the facilities at Warley Rugby Club not the bar next door. If this is found to be the case then our partnership will end and we will not be able to use the pitches. We respectfully ask you to support GDS with this. There is a lovely indoor and outdoor area available with refreshments for parents to watch the training session.
If you are a new Keeper you will also need to purchase either a Tshirt for £8 or a Sweatshirt for £15 Please see our clubshop to purchase these.
