We are very pleased to announce that Goalkeeper of the month for November/December 2025 is Confused
Confused is a Keeper who joined us at Gospel Oak and has been with us for approximately 18 months. Her nickname speaks for itself, obviously in jest and we have had a number of laughs with her since she received it!
When Confused first came to us she couldn’t dive properly, her kicking style was not very strong and overall her technical ability needed a lot of work. What is very noticeable about Confused is how quickly she takes information on board and puts it into practice. An example being after spending 10 minutes with her one on one showing her the diving technique she was diving properly and applying it to the drills and the sessions.
Confused puts a lot of effort into the sessions and listens and works extremely hard. Over the last couple of months she has also been paired up with a newer and younger Keeper who she has been leading by example, assisting with drills and helping to improve. This is commendable.
During this period it has been noticeable that confused has been outsranding in her technique and shotstopping and has shown a real improvement therefore absolutely deserving the Keeper of the Month award.
Congratulations Confused. You are a pleasure to coach. Keep up the outstanding work.
