We are very pleased to announce that Goalkeeper of the Month for July is Samsung.
Samsung trains with us at on a Friday night at Ellowes and has been with us approx 6 months.
When Samsung first came to us it was clear that he already had a good ability in goal and also outfield but as the time has gone on he has progressed and developed extremely quickly to a very good level.
Samsung takes in everything the coaches tell him and he knows when he has not done something correct and insists himself to do that particular drill again until he gets it right. His dedication and attention to detail is second to none and for a Keeper that age it is excellent to see.
Samsung has a lovely attitude. He works very hard and he is a pleasure to coach. He is often picked by lots of different coaches to be in the final at sessions which shows that he is very consistent.
During July Aston Villa have asked for him to train at their Academy and also invited him to play some matches which is a tremendous achievement.
Congratulations Samsung – keep up the hard work!
