We are very pleased to announce that Goalkeeper of the Month for November 2018 is Bottle.
Bottle has been training with us at Ellowes Hall for approximately 2 years. He is an extremely hardworking, polite young Keeper who has a great sense of humour, always has a smile on his face and is truly a pleasure to coach.
When Bottle originally came to GDS his technical ability was not very strong but he has persevered over time and worked hard, barely missing a session week on week.
The effort that Bottle always puts in is always outstanding and as he has developed over the months. He now sets a very good example to peers and younger Keepers around him.
Over the past few weeks it has become apparent that Bottles technical ability has improved a great deal. He has taken on board the coaching points and put them into practice week on week. He is often used for demos and has moved up groups. Bottle is now looking like a very strong Keeper in his age group.
During November Bottle has won Keeper of the night and his performance has not only been consistently excellent in the drills but also in goal in the small sided games where he has made some outstanding saves.
