We had a big turnout tonight at Ormiston which was great to see. Thanks also to all the Keepers that turned up in GDS kit for our video and photography. We will be continuing with this over the summer. So please continue to make the effort. We have an order of T-shirts coming in after the Bank Holiday but we have sweatshirts and waterproofs already in stock.
The session tonight was again “Starting the Attack” which is distribution drills and phase play sessions. This is a new session which has just recently been introduced this weekend and has a lot of very important coaching points. All Keepers worked very hard tonight. Well done to all.
Thanks to all the GDS coaches who helped tonight – Rob, Ant, Mick Button and Mick Beard. Thanks also to the Coaches who are on the GDS coaches course who have been week in week out.
Senior Keepers Andre and Beth were a great help again this evening with the kit and demos.
A special mention goes to Kindle who has been to every session at every centre for the last few months – that’s what we call dedication!
This leads on to the fact that the message to take away tonight is to keep the focus and dedication over the closed season this summer. Keep training with us and this will give you a big advantage when the new season arrives.
Welcome to our new Keepers and coaches today. It’s always good to see new faces.
Even better to see new faces in the final at the end of the night. Our joint winners today were Crumble and Erin our new Keeper 🙂 Congratulations to both. Photo seen with Head Coach Dave. PS they both got a medal – they didn’t have to share 🙂
