The rain held off

Tonight at Ormiston we had a whole training session where the rain held off!! We trained on the grass pitches which are beginning to dry out quite nicely now and we also had light until the end of the session tonight – dare I say summer is on the way! 🙂

The topic tonight was reaction saves – all of our Keepers worked extremely hard tonight as usual. This is not an easy session as it takes a lot of concentration but there is so much talent within the GDS family and it just grows every week.

We had a fantastic turnout and some more new faces.  One of our new Keepers – Brandon got nominated for Keeper of the night so a special well done to him.

As usual a big thanks goes out to all of our coaches tonight and to our Senior Keepers – you are all fantastic. We could not do this week in week out without you.

Thanks goes to the parents as well who religiously bring our Keepers no matter what the weather is and watch for a couple of hours – I will look at sorting out some drinks soon if anyone wants to help?

As special thanks goes to the parents who helped me take the gazebo down tonight – you know who you are 🙂
