We are very pleased to announce that Goalkeeper of the month for August 2020 is Noddy
Noddy has trained with us at all three centres but her primary centre is on a Friday night. She has been with us for approximately 2 years and when she first joined us she was a very quiet and shy young lady.
She was a Keeper with a lot to learn and a tendency to pick up injuries but she persevered and attended week in week out listening to coaching points, applying them and developing all the time. The determination she had to improve showed as she gradually began to get stronger and more confident.
Since the break that we had Noddy has returned stronger than ever. She is confident, technically excellent, and all areas of her game and ability have improved. This month during the sessions she has been outstanding. She has been noticed by more than one coach as she has been picked to be in the final and she has also won the medal.
