We are very pleased to announce that Keeper of the month for May 2023 is Miller.
Miller has been with us at our Charlemont Centre for just over a year. He was a very quiet, shy young lad when he first arrived and gradually relaxed into the sessions as time went on.
Miller is always a very hard working young man, putting so much effort into every session, and has a knack of understanding the drills in an instance.
From day one he had a very competitive nature and after a few months it became clear that not only was he developing very well as a goalkeeper but his kicking and shooting skills were outstanding. Many a time would he score numerous goals in games and his skill with the ball at his feet is excellent.
As time has gone on his footwork, handling and most of all his shot-stopping has improved tenfold. He is picked by a coach to be in the final at least once a month.
Miller is an absolute pleasure to coach and thoroughly deserves this award. Congratulations and keep up the good work young man!
