We had a fantastic turnout at Ellowes Hall for our Goalkeeper Circuit Training Session last night and we also had a number of new faces with us so a big welcome to all of our new Keepers.
The weather was perfect…is summer really on it’s way? But is was a really nice change to be training in nice warm weather rather than freezing cold rain!
The Goalkeeper Circuit is a brilliant session, it is extremely hard work for the Keepers as there is a mass variety of drills and activities for them to quickly work around in small groups stretching their abilities.
Following this a shot stopping session with a difference commenced. This included cones, barriers Keepers running in front. Different levels of this progressed. There were four groups of Keepers involved with this which shows the high numbers we had last night.
Keeper of the night went to Purple for his goalkeeping skills in the match at the end of the night. Photo seen with Head Coach Dave. Congratulations Purple.
