We are very pleased to announce that Goalkeeper of the Month of January 2018 is Forest.
Forest has been with us since we started our venue at Tividale FC last spring, from there he moved over to Ellowes Hall and has now also joined us at our new venue Goals in Blackheath.
From the start Forest has always been a very hard working young man and listens carefully to everything the coaches tell him. He puts in 100% effort at every session taking on board coaching points to improve his technique and this has really paid off over the months.
Recently it has become apparent that Forest has greatly improved since he first began. He is much stronger, consistent and his technique is much better. Forest has been moved up a group and has also been used in demo groups and leading warmups. Throughout December and January Forest has also been chosen by a number of different coaches to be in the final for keeper of the night.
